They say that money is the root of all evil, but one Coram man has his wallet to thank for saving his life. The unidentified victim was sitting in a car at the intersection of Homestead Drive and Grant Court inside the Homestead Village Apartment Complex in Coram on Wednesday morning when someone fired multiple shots at the vehicle. A bullet became lodged in the wallet of the man who was inside the vehicle, according to a Suffolk County police report.
The man was not injured.
