Ronkonkoma, NY — Suffolk County Police arrested two women during a raid at a Ronkonkoma massage parlor on Tuesday afternoon.
In response to numerous community complaints, officers from the Fourth Precinct Crime Section, Property Section, and the Town of Islip Fire Marshal conducted an investigation at Crystal Spa Jin, located at 2411B Chestnut Ave., at approximately 3:45 p.m.
Zoey Chen, 51, of Forest Hills, and Xiao Qiu Qian, 47, of Whitestone, were charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession and Prostitution. Both women were issued Desk Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
In Rocky Point recently, SCPD raided two seperate massage parlors that resulted in four arrests.
As always, it is important to note that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
