Nesconset Man Arrested for Public Lewdness, Additional Victims Come Forward

Nesconset, NY — Jacob Levy, 27, of Nesconset, was arrested on Thursday by Suffolk County Police and charged with two additional counts of Public Lewdness following new victims coming forward after an initial arrest on the same charge back in April.

Levy was initially arrested for an incident that occurred on April 22, 2024, when he allegedly committed a lewd act in front of a mother and her young daughter. The incident took place at the intersection of Route 347 and Gibbs Pond Road in Nesconset at approximately 3 p.m. Levy, driving a sky blue 2020 Honda Civic with black rims, reportedly pulled up next to the woman’s vehicle, exposed himself, and began masturbating. He was naked from the waist down.

The mother confronted Levy, took down his license plate number, and immediately contacted the police. Levy fled the scene, heading northbound on Southern Boulevard.

Following an investigation, Levy was arrested on April 22 at 4:58 p.m. and initially charged with Public Lewdness and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. He was held overnight and arraigned on April 25.

With the additional victims coming forward, Levy now faces two more counts of Public Lewdness. Detectives are urging anyone who believes they may be a victim of Levy to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8451.

Levy was issued a temporary order of protection and released on cashless bail conditions. He pleaded not guilty and is due back in court on July 24th.

A criminal charge is an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
