A man was hit by a vehicle on Saturday night while he was crossing County Road 101 at the intersection of Southaven Avenue in Medford at about 8:30 p.m. The vehicle that was traveling in the northbound lanes did not stop and continued on after hitting the man, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The pedestrian was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with serious injuries.
