High-End Wine Heist in Medford: Police Seek Public’s Help in Recovering $1,550 Bottles

MEDFORD, NY – Suffolk County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men suspected of stealing a pricey collection of wine from a Medford liquor store in April.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, April 9th, at approximately 5:35 pm, at Pope Wine & Liquors located at 2775 Route 112. According to police reports, two men entered the store and stole three bottles of wine with a combined value of a staggering $1,550.

The exact type of wine remains undisclosed, but the high price tag suggests it was a rare or vintage selection. After the theft, the suspects fled the scene in a gray 2011 Nissan Versa with New Jersey license plates, A12 SXR.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for any information leading to an arrest in the case.
