Update: CNN is reporting that Rex Heuermann is expected to be indicted Thursday on two new murder charges, multiple law enforcement sources told CNN.
The Suffolk County District Attorney office did not confirm that an indictment was forthcoming for Heuermann but said that there will be a court proceeding this Thursday related to the Gilgo case,” a representative from the DA’s office told LITrueCrime.com.
Sources have told Newsday that the suspected Gilgo Beach murderer, Rex Heuermann, could be facing additional charges for a fifth murder. This comes after investigators have searched his home once again and a widespread investigation of a site in Manorville. Neither of those investigations have been directly connected with a pending additional charge as of yet.
