Watch Out for These Thieves: Suffolk County Police Seek Public’s Help
NORTH BABYLON, N.Y. – Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and First Squad detectives are urgently seeking the public’s help to identify and locate a man and woman who allegedly stole a debit card and subsequently withdrew $3,000 from the victim’s account back in March.
On March 7th, at approximately 1:35 p.m., the suspects were seen watching a woman enter her debit card PIN while she made a purchase at the ALDI store located at 1251 Deer Park Ave. After observing the transaction, the couple followed the victim into the parking lot. One suspect distracted her while the other stealthily stole her debit card.
The audacious duo then quickly headed to a nearby Chase bank, where they withdrew $3,000 from the victim’s account.
