WESTBURY, NY – In a disturbing incident on Thursday afternoon, Nassau Police arrested a Westbury man for public lewdness at the Church of the Advent. At 4:34 PM, Neil Nembhard, 31, of Queens Street, was observed by a 58-year-old male victim exposing himself and touching his genitals behind the church on Advent Street.
Following a thorough investigation, officers located and arrested Nembhard without incident. He has been charged with one count of public lewdness and released on an appearance ticket, returnable on June 20, 2024, at First District Court in Hempstead.
Police urge anyone who may have been victimized by Nembhard to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS or call 911. All callers will remain anonymous.
