Authorities Seek Public’s Help in Identifying Suspects in Commack and East Setauket Thefts

Suffolk County Police are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying and locating suspects involved in two separate theft incidents that occurred in May.

In the first incident, a man stole DeWalt tools valued at approximately $825 from Lowe’s, located at 100 Express Drive North in Commack. The theft took place on May 24 at 5:22 p.m. The Fourth Precinct Crime Section is investigating the case and is urging anyone with information to come forward.

In a separate incident, a woman stole groceries from BJ’s, located at 4000 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket. This theft occurred on May 29 at 2:46 p.m. The Sixth Precinct Crime Section is handling this investigation and also seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in either case.
