Suffolk County Police are reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying and locating suspects involved in two separate theft incidents that occurred in May.
In the first incident, a man stole DeWalt tools valued at approximately $825 from Lowe’s, located at 100 Express Drive North in Commack. The theft took place on May 24 at 5:22 p.m. The Fourth Precinct Crime Section is investigating the case and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
In a separate incident, a woman stole groceries from BJ’s, located at 4000 Nesconset Highway in East Setauket. This theft occurred on May 29 at 2:46 p.m. The Sixth Precinct Crime Section is handling this investigation and also seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward for information that leads to an arrest in either case. Individuals with information can submit anonymous tips by calling 1-800-220-TIPS, using the P3 Tips mobile app available through the App Store or Google Play, or online at www.P3Tips.com. All tips will be kept confidential.
