North Bellport Hit-and-Run Leaves Two BOCES Employees Hospitalized as Driver Flees

Two employees of Eastern Suffolk BOCES were injured in a hit-and-run crash in North Bellport on June 24, 2024. The incident occurred at approximately 8:35 a.m. in the parking lot of Eastern Suffolk BOCES, located at 350 Martha Ave. A vehicle struck Jawan Harrison, 31, of Coram, and Natalie Williams, 41, of Ronkonkoma, before speeding away from the scene.

Harrison was taken to Long Island Community Hospital in Patchogue with serious injuries, while Williams received treatment for non-life-threatening injuries at the same hospital.

Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives are investigating and request that anyone with information contact the Fifth Squad at 631-854-8552 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
