Suffolk County Police are investigating two theft incidents at the Target store in South Setauket, where thieves struck on consecutive days in June.
The first incident occurred on June 13 at approximately 3 p.m. when a man and a woman stole groceries, home goods, and clothing valued at around $315 from the Target located at 265 Pond Path. The duo managed to leave the store undetected, and authorities are now seeking the public’s help to identify and locate them.
The very next day, on June 14, another theft took place at the same Target. This time, a woman stole $175 worth of clothing at approximately 5:50 p.m. Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk County Police Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers are looking to identify and locate this suspect as well.
