A thief is on the loose after using stolen credit cards to go on a $900 gift card shopping spree in Riverhead last month. On June 11th, a woman’s wallet was stolen while she shopped at Costco on Old Country Road. By 3:59 p.m. that same day, a man had already used the stolen credit cards at the nearby Walmart, racking up over $900 in purchases.
Detectives are now seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating the suspect. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and help bring the thief to justice.
