Seikeya Jones, 31, who is homeless, has been identified as the person found in a suitcase in a wooded area in Huntington on September 3, according to Suffolk County Police. The cause of death is still being determined by the Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s Office.
A gruesome find was uncovered in Huntington on Tuesday when police discovered human remains hidden inside a suitcase near an apartment complex at 320 Nassau Road.
Officers were dispatched to the scene at 11:50 a.m. after receiving a 911 call reporting suspicious activity in a wooded area next to the building. Upon investigating, they found the body inside the suitcase.
