SELDEN, NY – In a dramatic raid Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk County Police arrested two women at Jixiang Spa on Middle Country Road in response to numerous community complaints. Jiangnan Tong, 46, and Wenjing Guo, 39, both of Flushing, were charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a Class E felony.
The sting operation, led by the Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers and supported by the Town of Brookhaven’s Building Inspector, Fire Marshal, and Investigator, resulted in multiple violations against the business. Tong and Guo are set to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
