Medford, NY – Carlton Hamilton, 63, of Medford, has been identified as the pedestrian seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash that occurred on May 25 at the intersection of County Road 101 and Southaven Avenue in Medford.
The incident happened around 8:35 p.m. when Hamilton was crossing County Road 101. According to Suffolk County Police Fifth Squad detectives, he was struck by two vehicles, a sedan and a pickup truck, both of which fled the scene without stopping.
Hamilton was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital, where he is being treated for serious injuries.
