Skeletal Remains, Possibly Human, Discovered at Woodbury Construction Site

WOODBURY, NY – On Monday afternoon possible human remains were discovered at a construction site on Fairhaven Boulevard. The find at 92 Fairhaven Boulevard was reported to the authorities at 3:59 p.m. by workers at the site.

The address matches the Eagle Rock Apartments complex but this was not verified by police. It was not noted what type of construction was taking pace.

Detectives from the Second Squad, responding to the 911 call, arrived to find skeletal remains unearthed during excavation. The discovery of the suspected human remains prompted an immediate response from both the Second Squad and the Medical Examiner’s office. The remains were carefully removed and transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for further examination.

The investigation is ongoing, with authorities working to verify the nature and identity of the remains found. Detectives are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
