Two Women Arrested in Rocky Point Massage Parlor Raid

In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police conducted a raid on Lucky 9 Wellness, a massage parlor located at 31 Fairway Drive in Rocky Point, leading to the arrest of two women on Thursday.

The investigation, spearheaded by Seventh Precinct Crime Section officers and Seventh Squad detectives, also involved the Town of Brookhaven Fire Marshal and the Town of Brookhaven Attorney’s Office. The operation was prompted by growing concerns from local residents about illegal activities at the establishment.

The complaint came from Brookhaven Town Councilwoman Jane Bonner’s office, who alerted the Suffolk County Police Department.

“The SCPD acted on our complaint very quickly,” Bonner told LITrueCrime.com.

During the raid, Fukun Liu, 45, of Flushing, and Ying Lin, 52, of Rocky Point, were apprehended and charged with Unauthorized Practice of a Profession, a felony, and Prostitution, a misdemeanor.

In addition to the arrests, the Town of Brookhaven issued several violations against Lucky 9 Wellness, underscoring the regulatory infractions discovered during the raid. Both women were issued Desk Appearance Tickets and are scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on a later date.

The address of the Lucky 9 Wellness massage parlor matches a building that is across the street from a Stop & Shop shopping center where Planet Fitness is located.

As with all criminal charges, it is important to note that a defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. The arrests and subsequent legal proceedings will aim to resolve the allegations and address the community’s concerns regarding the activities at Lucky 9 Wellness.

Correction: An earlier version of this story had a photo of a former business at this location. That business is not affiliated with the property and is not a part of the investigation or arrest at the current location. That has been corrected.
